I won’t lie to you (well, I would never do that anyway) – it’s been super busy with the release of the new book, and I’m hoping to announce a bunch of book tour dates in the next week or two.

Since I last posted here, the book has found many great homes, we’ve been blessed with positive feedback from a lot of readers, we’re preparing to release the next edition of Island Business News, I’m working on a new project similar to the book (to be announced soon) and I was recently invited to appear on Award Winning Author Stephen Patrick Clare’s popular book club radio show (roughly 130,000 listeners)

Never a dull moment for sure and sorry for the lag in posting – I was on vacation in Cape Breton, and since return I have been presenting to clients in almost a back to back capacity – I promise to try to write more soon in the coming weeks but don’t hesitate to visit us at www.gimmiemyketchup.com if you want to read more of our blogs on a regular basis as that blog site right now is being updated on an almost daily basis.

As the book prepares to hit the streets, things are heating up like crazy.

Yesterday, Journalist Nancy Regan (www.nancyregan.ca) interviewed me for an upcoming media release – I hope to make that available (in full) to you soon.

Then I had a photo shoot with Summerside based photographer Jill Hardy. Jill is profiled in the new Conversations With Islanders Book so it made sense to have her do the photo shoot for upcoming media.

A quick picture from the shoot is above and I think she did an awesome job, but just as important, my experience at her studio was first class. The only thing she couldn’t do was edit my picture (well at least edit directly from the camera) to make my somewhat “newborn belly” disappear!!  I say “from the camera” because I’m sure she could edit it after the fact but that wouldn’t change my knowledge of its existence.

I guess that (editing my belly) is going to take a dedication (health, wellness,  and a bunch of other things that will take almost as much will power as I may have) from my end to get back into better shape – or instead perhaps I’ll keep the belly and simply add jokes about my belly into my next comedy routine – one or the other

This morning I had an interview with SPUD FM in Summerside (hoping to make the audio clip available on the site soon) and this afternoon an interview with Roger’s FM.

Mainly, just wanting to keep you all in the loop as the book hits the streets.

This is my “first time” you know, so if you all want to come along for the ride, why not!!
